WITH the increasing use of the internet by children, criminals are constantly finding new ways to expose them to real danger.
Which is why West Mercia Police has launched a new e-safety bulletin service, providing timely updates to parents and carers in Redditch, Bromsgrove and Droitwich from a trusted source.
Working with the Local Authority, the campaign will be communicated through schools, and parents/carers are being asked to visit westmerciabulletin.org.uk to sign up.

IF RESIDENTS went down to the woods this week they might have found pupils from a Runcorn school having fun for charity.
Saint Mary’s Primary School pupils in Halton Village held a teddy bears’ picnic, raising £250 for the National Deaf Children’s Society.
The Year 1 students chose the cause because one its class members has hearing difficulties.

A Norfolk field studies centre is enjoying a new lease of life, just over a year after it was threatened with closure.
Holt Hall Environmental and Outdoor Learning Centre escaped the axe last year when Norfolk County Council looked set to remove funding from it and Wells Field Study Centre.
It was reprieved, and now the council has spent £43,000 to upgrade its facilities to make it more accessible and user-friendly for children with learning difficulties and disabilities.
