More than seven in 10 users of social care in Cumbria are happy with the service, according to a new survey.
The results of the survey, organised by the Department of Health, will be used to improve local services as local authorities battle stringent cuts.

A DISABILITY campaigner from York has spoken out after a national report said thousands of disabled people were suffering abuse on a daily basis.
The inquiry, entitled Hidden In Plain Sight, was carried out by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), and looked at reports from police forces, schools and public transport operators around the country to find out the scale of daily harassment.
Spat at every day
A major report, Hidden in Plain Sight, has just been published which has highlighted the daily hell which many people endure by being disabled in Britain today.
The report by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), is the most detailed study yet into abuse faced by disabled people. The Report interviewed over 350 individuals and dozens of police and local authority officers.
