The charity was established in 1998 as a result of research conducted by Social Services, Health Authority, Local Authorities and Voluntary Organisations. This revealed a need to support unpaid carers throughout Norfolk. The We Care Appeal raises money for the Norfolk Millennium Trust for Carers, an Endowment Fund.

A tiny blue flower has become the symbol of a Norfolk hospital’s pioneering project to improve care for dementia patients.
