New patient–focused mental health services in West Norfolk has been completed

A building project to create more efficient and patient–focused mental health services in West Norfolk has been completed. The Fermoy Unit, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, Chatterton, and Thurlow House, both on the Chatterton site, Goodwin’s Road, are part of Norfolk and Waveney Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
One of the improvements includes a new telephone system dedicated to the mental health service. The new telephone number is: 01553 609933. The changes are part of a project called ‘Building Success in the West’, which is designed to improve the delivery of NHS care.

Marlon Fulcher, who was among four Break children’s home workers from Mundesley who were foiled by the weather as they attempted a four-peaks challenge.

They were ready for the soaring peaks, but four courageous care workers were foiled by the pouring rain as they attempted a fearsome challenge on Saturday.

A courageous woman struck down by cancer has movingly told how a Hollywood blockbuster movie has inspired her to draw up a list of things she wants to do and achieve. 

Rachel Lane, 26, who has battled the illness for the last three years, decided to write down her dreams after watching The Bucket List.

In the film, characters played by Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman are both suffering from serious illnesses and draw up a list of the things they had always wanted to do.
