THE Worcestershire Association of Carers is about to launch a grand prize raffle to help raise funds for carers so that they can have a much-needed break.

The ‘treat yourself’ theme for the wonderful range of prizes includes a top cash prize of £500, second prize is a dinner, bed and breakfast at the Hilton Puckrup Hall, plus many more fantastic prizes.

(CBS/AP) Autism’s purported link to childhood vaccines has been debunked – again.

The Institute of Medicine says there’s no link between vaccines and autism and Type 1 Diabetes, as some have speculated. The Institute says they can cause side effects including seizures – but only rarely.

 Professor Sir Bruce Keogh said that IT will ”completely change the way we deliver medicine” making access to GPs at any time a reality and giving patients the ability to talk to specialists anywhere in the country.

The health expert told The Times newspaper he was looking at using online services such as Skype to make the NHS more convenient for users.
