THE Worcestershire Association of Carers is about to launch a grand prize raffle to help raise funds for carers so that they can have a much-needed break.

The ‘treat yourself’ theme for the wonderful range of prizes includes a top cash prize of £500, second prize is a dinner, bed and breakfast at the Hilton Puckrup Hall, plus many more fantastic prizes.

Other companies that have offered prizes to support the raffle include Worcestershire Cricket Club, Cleobury Golf Club, Bewdley Safari Park, Cutnall Green Tea Room, Artrix Theatre, the Robin Hood Inn, St Andrews House Hotel, Abbey Hotel and Webbs Garden Centre.

Association trustee Mark Oswell said: “The bottom line is that we want to give more carers more breaks as this is so beneficial, yet funds for this are always in short supply.”

With a ticket price of only £1, the association hopes to raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile cause.
