TOP dog Duffy has learned a new trick or two… thanks to a revolutionary washing machine.

He’s one of a breed of specially-trained dogs who can strip beds, fill laundry baskets as well as load and empty washing machines.
Now they are being taught to do all the laundry for their disabled owners with the new Woof to Wash machine.
They unlock it with the push of a paw on a bespoke pad, yank on a rope to open the door, load, close with their nose, then start the cycle simply by barking.

And now the rest of the country has heard of it too, thanks to Coleen Nolan singing its praises on Daybreak to around half a million viewers.
The Nolan Sisters’ singer took to the the ITV morning show to talk about how the hospice on Low Moor Road, Bispham, supported her sister, Bernie, and the rest of their family in Bernie’s final days.
And the Loose Women presenter helped to dispel common misconceptions about the palliative care unit.
She said: “You know about hospices but you think it’s depressing, it’s where people go in their final moments. So it was a bit scary when they said Bernie was going into a hospice.
“But I can’t tell you … it was the most amazing place.”
Top doctor welcomes dementia-friendly high-street to Fareham
STORES in Fareham have signed up to become a dementia-friendly high street.
Dr David Chilvers, chairman of the Fareham and Gosport Clinical Commissioning Group, which buys in health needs for the area, has welcomed the move.
He said: ‘It’s fantastic news for Fareham – and for people living with dementia and their families and carers.’
