Fun day for young carers in West Norfolk
WEST NORFOLK: Time to honour area’s top dads
Youngsters are being urged to say why their dad is the best around ahead of a charity fund day to be held in Lynn this summer.
The West Norfolk Carers are asking children to nominate their dad for a chance to take the title of Best Dad at a charity fun day to be held in The Walks on Fathers’ Day in June.
The Lynn charity works across West Norfolk to support unpaid carers by running support groups for the area’s young carers, which are entirely self-funded.

A 45 YEAR old man with muscular dystrophy is appealing against a decision by NHS officials which will force him to move out of his Wisbech bungalow and spend the rest of his life in a care home in Peterborough.
“My dignity has not been taken into account. This has been forced on me. I just want to live my own quiet life in the comfort of my own home,” said Mr Thorney of Victoria Road, who this week was allowed back to his bungalow for one day for the first time in 10 months.
