A Norwich mother told today how her baby son’s condition led to her being accused of child abuse by a complete stranger
Yasmin Desborough’s 10-month-old son, Cole, has talipes, commonly known as club foot.
It is a condition where the ankle is twisted, the foot points down and the sole faces inwards.
While his feet were being corrected, Cole spent the first eight weeks of his life in a plaster cast.

A WEEK of events will highlight and celebrate the contribution that carers make and provide greater support for those unaware of the services and benefits they may be entitled to.
Three in five people will be a carer at some point in their lives, meaning that one day the true face of a carer may be yours.
Carers receive £55.55 per week, the lowest benefit of its kind and only available for those who care more than 35 hours per week, equating to approximately £1.58 per hour.
