UNPAID carers will be taught about the skill of coarse fishing at a special session in East Northamptonshire next month. 

The event will take place at Willowbrook Fishery near Thrapston and is part of the Needs and Aspiration Project run by the Rushden-based charity Nene Valley Community Action.The programme provides free courses for unpaid carers to give them a short break from their caring role.

The scheme receives funding from Northamptonshire County Council.

The coarse fishing event will be held between 10am and 4pm on Wednesday, October 5.
