Thousands of people living in Norfolk look after sick and disabled relatives at home, and may be missing out on vital benefits and support.
Carers can find out more by attending a special Carers Rights Day event organised by Norwich and District Carers Forum on Friday 2nd December at The Charing Cross Centre in Norwich from 1.30-3.30pm.

The Knitted Christmas Tree is over 15 feet high, has over 4,000 knitted leaves, nearly 2,000 knitted decorations and the tub, bark, grass, parcels and star are all knitted. It was made to raise funds in support of John Grooms Court in Norwich. John Grooms Court is run by the charity Livability and provides accommodation for 20 physically disabled young adults. Just before last Christmas their lift broke down and seven residents were stranded upstairs for over a week. |

Elderly and vulnerable people caught in chilly winter conditions around the city were the focus of a new campaign looking to fight the freeze and even save lives.
Norfolk North MP Chloe Smith was at Asda on Drayton High Road, Hellesdon yesterday as part of her Warm Up For Winter campaign, which offers advice to people on how best to fight off the cold in the coming months.
