Supporting Carers not in Education, Employment or Training.

Norfolk Carers Support is excited to launch a new service for 16-24 year old Carers who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET.

Our service is based in Great Yarmouth and Norwich and is open to young people who provide either  emotional or physical care to family members who have a long term disability, mental health condition or who suffer from substance misuse

The Young Carer can benefit from:

• 6 months’ worth of 1:1 support to help them access training, employment and education,
• 6 workshops with guest professionals,
• Gaining a recognised qualification,
• Support for their family member being put in place,
• A residential trip.

Participants will help to shape the service and decide which workshops they would like us to facilitate.
