Landmark Trust offers 50 short breaks to charities and educational groups

Carers in need of respite breaks

ShreBuilding preservation charity The Landmark Trust is offering 50 short breaks to charities, educational groups and not-for-profit organisations “to extend the benefit of staying in its buildings to those who need it most”.

The breaks are being made possible by a private donor. They all take place between 10 and 17 March 2014.

There are four night and three night breaks available in buildings across England, Scotland, Wales and Italy.

Who can benefit?

The Trust suggests that organisations could apply for the following reasons or beneficiaries:

  • Carers in need of respite breaks (personal or professional)
  • Hero volunteers or employees
  • Struggling families
  • Young carer groups
  • Management team away time/workshops
  • Study trips
  • Retreats

The short breaks are not available as raffle or auction prizes.

The deadline for applications for the 50 for Free offer is 4 January 2014.
