Kind people in Suffolk helping Carers to enjoy a break in the countryside.

CARERS in Brandon will be able to make the most of the town’s country park after a donation from a Suffolk charity.

Suffolk ACRE (Action with Communities in Rural England) donated a mobility scooter to Brandon Country Park on Monday to allow carers to enjoy a break while taking those that they care for with them.

Wil Gibson, chief executive for Suffolk ACRE, said they had consulted with carers before making the donation.

“This was really driven by wha the community said was important to them and that’s exactly what Suffolk ACRE is all about,” he said.

Park manager Wendy Baker said she was very pleased with the new scooter as it would give more people access to the park.
