Hospital Staff and pupils sing carols for carers and service users
Singsong for service users and carer
Staff from the Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) older people’s services teamed up with pupils from local school, Burton-upon-Stather Primary, near Scunthorpe to entertain service users and carers with a sing-along, mince pies and coffee.
Aged between eight and 11, the children from years 4, 5 and 6, are in their school choir. They sang carols and Christmas songs for an appreciative audience at Glanford Park football ground.
Belinda Clark-Vessey, RDaSH service manager/ head of occupational therapy for integrated community mental health service for older adults in Scunthorpe said: “We all really enjoyed the concert; the children were enthusiastic and were lovely to listen to. It set us all up for Christmas.”
