Stunned Kev wins spin No2

STUNNED Kevin Cartwright could hardly speak last night after he also scooped the £1million prize on the second night of Red Or Black.
The carer, 44, repeated “unreal, unreal, unreal” as he followed Saturday’s winner Nathan Hageman by spinning red on the giant roulette wheel.

He shook his head in disbelief and muttered “Thank you” to hosts Ant and Dec.
His fiancée Nicola Dawson — who has the rare blood disorder hyperlipidaemia and needs Kevin’s full-time help — rushed on stage with family and friends to share his joy.
The windfall means the pair can now afford revolutionary treatment for Nicola in the US.
Kevin, of Cannock, Staffs, said later: “I’m in complete shock. I watched the ball land on the black and I thought that was it. I couldn’t focus, I thought I was in a dream.
“I nearly never turned up for the first round because Nicola wasn’t feeling herself but she encouraged me to. The first thing I’m going to do is take her on holiday.
“The icing on the cake was Simon Cowell said it had him on the edge of his seat, the way that ball was spinning.”
Earlier in the show, Kevin had described what winning would mean to him.
He said: “Nicola’s illness would need a lot of money and time and effort, something we could only get in America.
“That’s my main goal, not a fancy car or a big holiday — just get her fixed.
“This has to be one of the most important things that I’ve ever attempted in my life.”
