Elderly and vulnerable people caught in chilly winter conditions around the city were the focus of a new campaign looking to fight the freeze and even save lives.
Norfolk North MP Chloe Smith was at Asda on Drayton High Road, Hellesdon yesterday as part of her Warm Up For Winter campaign, which offers advice to people on how best to fight off the cold in the coming months.

A dossier containing “shameful” stories about the care elderly patients receive in NHS hospitals in England has been published by campaigners.
The Patients Association said the 16 cases include people being denied pain relief, left to sit in their own faeces and going without food and drink.
It comes after criticism from other groups and the charity said it was highlighting the tip of the iceberg.
The government said it was determined to “root out poor performance”.
Hospital bed-blocking ‘rising’
Patients are facing increasing delays in being discharged from hospital, figures obtained by the BBC suggest.
The problem – known as bed-blocking – happens when support from social care or district nursing is not available in the community for vulnerable patients.
Department of Health data shows that in the last two months, there were more than 128,000 days of delays in England, up 11% on the same period last year.
