Carers reallly are the unsung heroes of our society – have your say in Luton
Have your say on support for carers in Luton
IF you are the carer of an adult, Luton Borough Council would like to hear your opinions on the services it provides to you.
Looking after a family member, partner or friend is something that will happen to most people at some point and the Council recognises that caring duties place a significant impact on carers’ lives.
A survey has been developed so carers can say what they think of local serivces and how easy it is for them to get information, advice and support when they need it.
The information gathered will help the Council to ensure their needs are identified and ways are found to meet them.
Councillor Shelia Roden said: “If you are a carer of an adult we would like to know what you think of the services that are available to you and find out if they are meeting your needs.
“Carers reallly are the unsung heroes of our society and all too often they struggle to get the recognition they deserve. The vital job they do is so important to the large number of adults living in Luton who need help to do the everyday things most of us take for granted.”
