County Council makes grants available to help local people live independentl

Community groups, voluntary and charitable organisations and town and parish councils can apply for grants of up to £50,000 to help people in Norfolk live independently with a good quality of life.
The Living Well in the Community Fund from Norfolk County Council aims to help communities to address local needs and in doing so help people aged 16 and above to live independently for longer.
A wide–range of projects and activities will be considered for funding and could include programs to promote fitness and wellbeing, practical help to assist people who might otherwise struggle to continue to live in their own homes and support for people looking for work.
Applications are now open for grants of between £500 and £50,000 that will be awarded over four funding rounds over the next 12–months. The first deadline for applications is Wednesday 29 February and groups who have applied before this date will discover if they have been successful in March.
