A rainbow of carers across the Silver Jubilee Bridge

Carers from across Halton take part in Rain to Rainbows event

Aug 25 2011 by Mark Smith, Runcorn and Widnes Weekly News

VOLUNTEERS from across Halton gathered recently to form a ‘human rainbow’.

The Rain to Rainbows event was organised by volunteer groups from across the borough and saw those taking part assemble in multi-coloured clothing before lining the Silver Jubilee Bridge to form a rainbow.

They then made their way to the Stobart Stadium where the mayor and mayoress of Halton cut a large celebration cake.
