Dementia experts call for a new approach to supporting dementia patients and their carers, after identifying gaps in current health and social care provision. The findings are highlighted in a new report, written by a panel of some of England’s leading experts in dementia care, launched in the House of Lords today.

CARERS in Halton are being invited to form a rainbow on one of the borough’s most recognisable landmarks.

The Rain of Rainbows event will see 500 carers and ex-carers lining up on the footpath of the Silver Jubilee Bridge decked out in all the colours of the rainbow.

A Norwich mother told today how her baby son’s condition led to her being accused of child abuse by a complete stranger

Yasmin Desborough’s 10-month-old son, Cole, has talipes, commonly known as club foot.

It is a condition where the ankle is twisted, the foot points down and the sole faces inwards.

While his feet were being corrected, Cole spent the first eight weeks of his life in a plaster cast.
