Bishop of Bolton to deliver a keynote speech about care

Bishop of Bolton in Leigh will underline Care

THE Bishop of Bolton will underline care when he stops off in Leigh on his healing roadshow.

On Saturday, May 14, the Rt Rev Chris Edmondson will be at Christ Church, Pennington for the 9.30am to 1pm event at which he will deliver a keynote speech followed by a short healing activity allowing people to respond to what they have heard.

There will be six seminars: care for the dying; being a carer; an area of quiet reflection ; care for the homeless; care for the mentally ill and care for abused children.

People can choose two of those they consider would be the most helpful.

Each seminar will have two elements, caring for the client and caring for the carer during the process.

It is designed for anyone involved in any kind of caring ministry, whether church based, or not. If you are caring for a relative, a friend or involved in and informal caring role, this could prove a valuable experience.
