Mr Blue Sky single set to be released in memory of Worcester dad

A CHARITY single in memory of a Worcester dad who died of cancer is set to be released.

The version of Electric Light Orchestra’s Mr Blue Sky was recorded in memory of Battenhall dad Nigel Collinson.

Mr Collinson was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in September 2013, and died 12 weeks later – just two days after his 45th birthday.

His youngest son Charlie, seven, came up with the idea of recording the track as it was a family anthem and one of his father’s favourites.
