Hope you don't have too much clearing up to do after builder's work wendy although it will all be worth it.

I went to Lidl's today - they have lots of customers who used to go to Tesco so they were very busy today. I noticed chickens which you cook in the bag they come in - I have never done that. Although I didn't buy one today I think I'll give it a try sometime. Has anyone cooked chicken in the bag?

I've just got hubby tucked up in bed - hope he sleeps well so that I can too. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Good night luvvies xx

Good morning, it is pouring down & very windy. Hope it stops, Callum has a parade with the Sea Cadets today

Daisy, not tried those, but Lakeland used to sell roast bags, 2to do-it yourself". Would think it keeps the chicken nice and moist

Had my appt yesterday at the musculo-skeletal clinic, I was in with the specialist physio an hour. She gave me some exercises to do the strengthen my thumb muscles , as they have become wasted , she advise on meds and using pain-relieving gel, she has referred me to occupational therapy dept for assessment re aids to help rest my thumb & make household tasks easier, and referral to orthopaedics re surgery & have got apt to see the surgeon on 10th dec. Felt shattered when I got home

Hope you have a good day

Been to a Christmas fayre this morning, it was enjoyable, some really nice stalls. Have my feet up, watching the Last of the Summer Wine.

good afternoon,
I went to get some food this morning and then went to my neighbours for a shower.
Then had lunch and had a rest, and then did a bit of gardening.
the sky is so strange today and I feel sure there must be some flooding somewhere.

Good morning everyone. Hope weather stays dry today for all the Remembrance Sunday parades all over the country. p0923

Our local butcher sells lovely beef olives made to his own recipe - that's what we are having for lunch today. In slow cooker with lots of onions, lovely aroma in the house.

Coffee time now 6-==

Good morning, it is wild wet and windy, got drenched both going to and coming home form church. Have some ironing to do & then need to download all the new choir Christmas repertoire, so I can practice them at home. We're doing one called Gaudete, which is really fast & entirely in Latin, that will be a challenge!!!!n

My cleaner came for the first time today, I think I am going to like her.
Then I went to buy a towel rail and a toilet roll holder. I have bought one for the downstairs loo that is with no nails, but I cant fathom how to work it.
I saw a gritting lorry go by so it looks as though it may be going to get cold.

Evening all

hope bill made it to his appointment Annie.

Been on duty today then did a cpr and defibrillator demonstration at the loughborough physio department. They aren't allowed to use the hospitals or be provided with one! So the lions club donated one so we went to show them how to use it.

Then home to sort out my Christmas cake so chuffed with myself!

sorting the car out tomorrow ready for the weekend trip to Plymouth. Got packing and present wrapping to do to.

This king of Oyu all

Good morning, we actually have some daylight this am, but suspect it is the calm before the storm, which is due to hit tonight.
Have to got to Bury this am for Bill's prescription. I was ripping yesterday, I ordered it on Friday to be collected yesterday & luckily, thought to ring & check before I set off (1hr round trip), not only was it not ready, but they couldn't locate the prescription. They promised it for today, but it isn't convenient as, I have choir this afternoon in Acrington which is in the opposite direction.

Hope you have a good day

it is a lovely day today and nice to be in the garden. I have done some cleaning and then sat down for a rest with the latest Yours magazine.
The builder should finish today, but we will have to see. I will let you know how it goes.
Trixie should come out of hospital today and they have arranged carers.
all for now.

It's good that the builder is almost finished Wendy. I'm amazed that your weather has been good enough for you to be in the garden.

Irene, it's a shame you have to wait so long for your operation but on the other hand in 4 - 5 months the weather will be better suited to you walking for exercise to aid recovery.

Debz, I have just realised that you are moving soon - hope that goes well and that you settle in quickly and enjoy your new home.

Abigail is blowing 90 mph here so no washing outdoors today as it would be in the North Sea by now.
