Frustrated!!

Postby annie » 15 Dec 2014, 20:25

Started to write up a post about my walk on the canal today & wanted to put on a couple of swan pics form Flickr. I went to my Flickr page to find I needed my user name & password ( I had cleared my cache last week & of course lost all my saved passwords. I put in what I thought was correct & of course, it was the wrong one, I went to get my list, found my yahoo ID, put that in to be told my account had been inactive and had been discontinued & I would have to set up a new on. I did this , only to find that I had a new flickr account with an empty photostream, so I have lost all my photos, about 500 !!! I haven't a clue how I will access my old page!!

I've sometimes left my flickr account for long times inbetween but haven't had the same problem, I'll try to help you Annie as soon as my Broadband is back working, I'm using a wifi dongle at the moment.

That doesn't really help Wendy, as far as I know my account has not been deleted, I just can't access it as it is not recognising myusername or password & now I have created a new account at their suggestion, all I get is a new Flckr account with no photos

Mo will have a better idea when she gets on line.
Did you access the website using Firefox, because if so Mo says you can find your password that way?

Thanks for you pm, I checked & must not have accessed Flickr form Firefox. However I have yet again learnt something new, which is great.I had no idea that firefox stored passwords, that will be useful
