Hi guys - I've been missing in action!
Thanks for all your kindness - we've been a bit under seige here I'm afraid!

Jessie's surgery date has come and gone - cancelled!
Lisa our daughter took shingles with all the stress and was very poorly and to cap it all wee Jessie took the chicken pox!

OH struggled majorly and had a massive increase in seizure activity (needed the rescue meds!), leading upto Jessie's surgery date and then it was cancelled - boy was I mad - but it seems, it's right enough, things happen for a reason as soon after her op cancellation the chicken pox appeared!

The new date has been set, a specialist is coming down from Yorkhill as it's a more invasive op (17 and a half hours).
I'm expecting OH to struggle again but we're ok! We'll cope!
I hope you're still all hanging on in there too!

Hi guys, thanks for the support, I'm still a little under seige but we're hanging on in there!

You know me - I even found time to visit with my NHS review and raise issues too!
I guess you can't hold a good gal down as the yankee's say! lol

I've been blogging again about it all - as usual! and...Wendy kindly popped it in the newspaper!
Who knows maybe it'll encourage other people to speak out!

Hi guys, we're still hanging on in there.
Jessie's surgery went well, it was 6 hours for the first part and she has her pink casts on.
Her she is with her mummy and I, earlier today...


She needs another surgery and yet more Spica casts in another 6 weeks but we're being positive, it's safely over one hurdle for now!
