Many carers find the Internet to be an essential tool for keeping in touch with family and friends as
well as finding information and support. We know that for some carers it can be difficult to get time of
their own and even then this isn’t when the shops are open or your friends are available. The
Internet doesn’t replace going out or meeting with friends so do have a look at the respite and
support fact sheets for more information on how you may be able to get time to yourself.
