Wow girls you look great all of you.  I see Graham in the background of the last picture with the drinks in his hand lol get one for me please graham.. I hope you`ve  all been good.  I think you look like the Beverly sisters but better looking and how smart you all look.  I do really wish we could have joined you I bet it was great.
Nice to put a face to the names Ginny your lovely.  I think me and Maggie have some compertion here!!!  I wish you could all get down to Torquay as Hal and Joyce did we had a lovely time and hope it won`t be too long before they come visiting again

I am home and yes it was a wonderful, wonderful day.  It meant so much to me that the other carers bothered to travel all that way. 
I am ever so tired and came back to a few emails about funding.
Thank you Tim, ever so much for keeping everyone informed.
Rosie Sandall and her husband John, were lovely and bought me a bouquet of flowers.
The staff at the hotel were wonderful, and the train staff and the trains.
Many, many thanks to everyone who helped us with today and I think we will have enough money left over to have a lunch in March in Norwich at the Oaklands.
Forgive me I am tired now.

We finally arrived home a little before 9pm this evening.  We stayed right till the end so that Derek & Jean would not be on their own.  We left round the 3.45pm mark and headed back towards the M1, we got caught up round Nottingham for what seemed like ages, had a break at the service station then got caught up in traffic as there had been an accident.
I would estimate that with all that had gone on and the breaks that if this had not occured we would have got back home about an hour sooner.
Anyway, it was a great day and so wonderful to meet up with the people who turned up today.  Thanks to everybody there and the service was brilliant, they could not help us enough the staff when seeing that we were going through with the wheelchair, they came and held the doors open for us.  The only thing that really surprised me there was that there were no disabled toilets there.  As this was the case, the foot rests had to come of the chair as you had to go in at an angle to get into the ladies loos.  Thank goodness the loo was big enough to fit me in as well as Joyce.  Other than this, a great day for us all.

Well I've had the most wonderful day and wouldn't have wanted to miss it for all the world, meeting up with Wendy, Maureen and Hal again and it's been really great meeting Annie, Graham and Derek for the very first time... I'm absolutely shattered so am having an early night but will post my photos tomorrow and tell you some of the laughs that Wendy and I had on the train journey ;-)

Who paid for the coffee before I got there?

I have worked out the money and we have £56 left over so this will go to paying for us to get a lunch in Norwich in Ferbruary or March,

But if we do get help with funding from the newspaper article today, then we will not have any worries.
It has been a delight to meet so many but it made me cry to meet Annie.
