I am still not coping well but I am having help from a mental health unit and come the New Year I will be doing a self esteem course which I hope will help. i am trying to keep going but at times it does not seem worth it, when my husband is low he just gives up but to me that does not help.

I am so sorry but so typical of a family when caring, indeed like many more in the forum.
I expect the members will have some more ideas for you.
You seem to be doing the right things and coming on chill will help.
Please take care of yourself and remember Chill gives out what you give to it. Supporting others seems to help with your own pain.

I hope things improve soon, the course sounds like it will be helpful, like Wendy says, keep coming on here & participate, members help each other so much

Try and keep strong and like Wendy said keep coming on chill and posting, family carers face new challenges every single day.

It is so difficult when you both feel so low and you feel so alone in dealing with it.
I can certainly relate.
will it be cbt? If so I had this a few years and it was wonderful. It made such a difference.
Always here if you want to talk.
take care and thinking of you
