I live on a very long road and every Christmas for nearly 30 years I share a Christmas card with some dear friends on the road.
Well today, I received a shocking email to say they had moved to live in Spain, and when they moved they had to call the police and they had to leave some of their furniture in the house. The police have taken a month to get the stuff back for them. The new people had them evicted.

I am upset at losing these good friends but thankful for the internet that she has been able to get in touch.
I will miss them.

It's sad when an old friend move away, but like you say thank goodness for the Internet.
