Tonight I was going to visit Paul and his nurse phoned me to say he hasn't been very well today. He has had several seizures, and he was asleep. I decided not to go and visit, and went across to my neighbours, thinking he'd be better off resting and sleeping it all off. When I got back home I phoned to see how he was and there was a team of doctors with him - he'd had another really bad fit and was having trouble breathing, so could I go up to hospital. My neighbour came with me, and they were still working on him. He's got a tube down his throat to keep his airways open. I was told by the dr that at the moment if anything happens Pauls in a state of not being resuscitated. I went to see him and he was out of it, and didn't know I was there. I can't stop shaking or crying. Don't want to go to bed tonight, or to be on my own, so I phoned Pauls sister & BIL and they're coming over. I AM SO SCARED!!!!

Dear Sheila, So sorry to hear that, you must be very worried about Paul right now.
Spend as much time as you can with him even though he's out of it he may still know you are there and talk to him.
Stay strong Sheila, keeping you both in my thoughts.

Just thought I would give you the latest on Paul. I went to see him this afternoon, and after talking to a Matron who was going around asking everyone how they are, I spoke to the O/T and arranged with her, that Paul can finally come back home this Friday.
