I should have been retiring this week , that was before the change in retirement age. now I have to continue working  for another 7 years. oh well, what will be will be.
thankfully I can get free prescriptions from next week, that will help so much as I have now been put on meds for very high blood pressure and asthma inhalers.

I thought it was 65/66 if you are now becoming 60, it will be a big help for getting free prescriptions, think you can also get a bus pass.

I'm now 63 and got my state Pension at 61

How disappointing!! Nothing worse than looking forward to something and the rules changing.

What a shame Honey, I was born in 1955 and cannot get my old age pension or bus pass till I am 66, so another 7 years to go, seems a long way off  gips
