Got my stitches out at the Drs this am, al went well, nice & neat and well healed, put a clean dressing on just incase they  bled. Then this evening, my chest began to itch. Took the dressing off and I now have a big square inflamed and itchy  area which looks for worse that the big white dressing I have put up with all week. Must be allergic to the adhesive in the plaster. I am hoping lavender will calm it down!!!

Annie if you've got any Aloe Vera gel or an Aloe Vera plant try that, I always keep an aloe plant and break one of the spikes open and put the gel on things like that and it's good for burns, cools the skin, hope it soon eases for you.

what a pain, hope it settles soon
