I have a jubilee bathroom, there are 5 stairs up to it, up to now my daughter has been able to get up and down them with help, but now she is experiencing more difficulty even with our help. we have a stairlift for the main stairs . does anyone know if there are stairlifts available just for 5 stairs. the one we have cant be adapted to turn around due to not being on the right side of the wall.
advice would be appreciated please.

I would think so Honey, when the chap came to fit one for Dad, he measured the height and length it had to fit, then it was made to measure ..

have you had a word with the people who fitted the other stairlift.
if you have, then there are some adverts on here for stairlifts, I would give them a phone call.
It wont cost you anything

after 2 days of being passed from pillar to post when I enquired just for advice/information from local services departments, I got fed up and rang a private local company who fit reconditioned stairlifts.
they can fit one for us within a week to our specifications.....will cost a grand but it is going to be worth it. and it is guaranteed and serviced yearly.

after being assured fitting on wed afternoon I got a phone call this evening to say the fitter would arrive at 9.00am on Friday.
oh and I have taken annual leave for wed. we cant change our working arrangements at such short notice.
I told them they will have to honour the agreed arrangement.
thankfully I got a phone call back an hour later confirming wed pm fitting.

it didn't.
fitters sent with wrong track.
fitters going back to tell what is needed.
why cant the people who sell the things bring a fitter with them on the initial consultation ?
we took annual leave for this,
its not the fitters fault, they were very apologetic and helpful.
now ,
when the fitters get the right track and can fit it, we will have to apply and give at least 1 weeks forward notice at work for permission to have another days annual leave from work , providing that cover can be found for our jobs.
and it is the holiday season.
