There are pilates exercises that help. One is lying down so takes no effort either!!
My friend took statins but go awful leg pains so stopped taking them.
Porridge helps too and there are other foods that help but I can't remember them off the top of my head. Mr Google will know!!
Good luck and hope this helps.
P.s apparently less stress helps too!! Good luck with that one!!! sp0

Statins are for lowering cholesterol not reducing high blood pressure Honey. You should really see your GP & see what he suggests, relaxation techniques can help, but if blood pressure is very high, it is dangerous & it can lead to a fatal heart attack and shouldn't be treated lightly

been to gp.
having blood pressure tested every 2 days
still very high
given 2 weeks off work, and told to rest more....which I really am trying to do
gp brilliant
he suggested tai chi might help with relaxation and stress
I do indeed think this would help, and the local leisure centre has a class I could attend once a week
but,
it would cost me 6.00 each time, plus transport costs as carers allowance doesn't qualify for concessions and we are not on benefits as we are classed as a single couple . wouldn't qualify for a carers grant as we are not on benefits.
I will try and attend this though.
has anyone here tried tai chi.
