Marks bed motor broke last night, technician came out around 1am and couldn't fix it. Bed was stuck in upright position so technician forced it down flat and now we just have to wait up to 6pm tonight for new bed. Mark won't be able to eat until he's in a new bed and as usual I'm on h own dealing with all this .

it is not fair at all.
i feel so much for both of you

where is the care that is being shouted about for carers week?

I hope they turn up early to fix Marks bed and make him comfortable.

So sorry to read this, hope they get it fixed this afternoon  hu****

Still waiting-marks not eaten since 6pm yesterday. I have been giving him drinks laying down but can't give him his meds. I just feel alone as his mum has gone to see her parents in Suffolk and his sister is enjoying the afternoon at the pub.-need I say anymore?? ...........

So sorry about Mark's bed Debz Hopefully they should be coming with a new bed in the next couple of hours

Dear Debz, sorry to hear Mark's bed has broken, the service is just not good enough, it should be a priority and fixed within a few hours of breaking down, I hope you keep bothering them till they turn up as they are putting Mark's health at risk and your's with having no help at hand.

The new bed came at 5pm and I am so relieved. We are both exhausted but very happy.  Thankyou everyone and fingers crossed for a quiet 'boring' day tomorrow xx
