Since Friday I have been let down by both the agencies we use. This evening it's our night care that's not coming. Just thinking about my birthday has had me in floods of tears. Once again my parents won't be coming down to see me, Marks parents are in France and his  sister is working a 12 hour shift tomorrow. All we will have are carers paid to be here, no family or friends to make my day special. I wish Mark could hug me but I'm lucky if he manages to hold a conversation that I can understand. Sorry for off loading but I just feel really low .

I can understand why you are feeling so low when family just carry on with their lives as if nothing is wrong.

I'm sorry no-one is there to make you feel the special person that we all know you are.
