I am furious, I have just received a letter from EON, saying they are discontinuing the tariff (warm assist) I am on by June  and therefore my bills will be going up by £590 a year.  How can they do that in the middle of a contract? Mine doesn't runout until January!! I am definitely going to switch, however, it is impossible to compare on any of the comparison sites as warm assist is not listed. grrhhh!!!! Then they will try and charge me a get out fee as it is middle of contract.

I think if I was you, I would register on here and ask if they are allowed to break their contract

No wonder you're furious, It is EON that is breaking the contract, I would phone another company and tell them what has happened, I've been with BG for at least 14 years and never had a problem, my prices are fixed till August 2015 and get discount for dual fuel.

I've heard of other people having problems with EON.

I would be taking advice to see if they can just do this. Hope you get sorted, love Berniexx
