Frustrated!

Postby annie » 26 Jun 2014, 16:46

Came home & found couldn't access my emails, bt suggests my account may have been compromised, suggested I ran scan & changed password & then re log in. I did this just to get the same message.grrh. Decided the quickest way to sort would be the helpline, I accessed it to be told queue of 16 - I am still waiting 20mins later!!!

That is annoying being put in a long queue, I hope they can resolve that for you quick, I guess it's a BT email you're having the problems with, I'm with BT but I have never used the BT email.
Not so long ago a lot of people's BT yahoo email addresses were compromised.

I have gone form being frustrated to furious!!! After 25 mins I got on the chatline, she messed around for ages with no success& then said could she have control of  my screen. I agreed. After an hour, yes an hour!!! she had got me into my bt mail account with yet another change of password, but I was still unable to receive them in my Incredimail, she told me that although she the bt was working fine, the incredimail had a software problem & I needed to get a local techy in. End of conversation. After she had gone. I tried to get in to bt mail again & it will not recognise my new password, nor will it recognise my old one. What a waste of time!!!

After I calmed down & a glass of wine later, I contacted the chatline again, waited 45 mins for an operative ( good excuse for another glass of wine!!) Got a male called Raj this time -  5 mins &  he had sortesd it, I got straight into my bt account  afterwards & plus,  there is nothing wrong with my Incredimail so I would have paid for a techy for nothing on the advice of the 1st one!!!!
