Please light a candle for Barry

Postby wendy » 08 Nov 2015, 11:21

Barrys son received a phone call to go into hospital at 2am today and he is now in Papworth hospital having a heart transplant.
Please think of Barry at this time and the family.
Hoping all goes well.

Barry phoned me tonight when he got home.
His son is attached to many wires and contraptions.
When Barry said hello, then his son squeezed his hand tight. He has not come round yet but the hospital hope to have him in a chair by Friday.
There were at least 10 other patients in the critical care wards.
Your thoughts and prayers are helping the family and they say thank you.

That must have been comforting for Barry when his son squeezed his hand.

Barry told me they got his son up in a chair yesterday.
He is speaking now but the medication that he is on is making him have dellusions and he is talking rubbish.
He seems to be moving forward every day.
