Max has crossed the Rainbow Bridge

Postby chenrezig » 28 Sep 2014, 18:26

Bruv and Sis-In-Law popped in to visit yesterday and they had  some sad news, Max their greyhound has passed away at the age of nine. They took him to the vet because he was off colour, and found he had heart failure, some tablets fixed that, then he had another "turn" and ended up critical - the vet did an ultrasound and found he had a massive tumour on his spleen. The vet reckoned he must have had it since they got him. He offered to operate if they wanted, but Max sadly died that same night before he could.

Max was the most gentle, laid back dog I have ever known .. I always had him to walk when we took the three dogs out together, I won't half miss him ...
