I phoned Jeanne and she told me that George had passed away at 3am today
Please think of the family at this sad time.
Jeanne said George is free from pain and with his loved ones.

Thanks for all of the good wishes. George only went yesterday, but it seems like forever. He collapsed Tuesday morning at home and was rushed to hospital with a massive brain bleed. He died extremely peacefully and every line of pain on his face had dissapeared. We all said goodbye to him and he was surrounded by love.
The nurses at Kings College Hospital treated him with extreme dignity and respect. He had wonderful treatment and care from beginning to end. They were so kind to us also.
Life has to carry on, but can never be the same again. But I was blessed to have him for 26 years.
At nearly 91, he was frail and tired. Thanks everyone for being here. x Jeanne
