Still no sign of hatching at Norwich. Seems very windy up there today as the bird on the eggs is right up the corner with all its feathers waving about in the wind

Good news at Bath as two of the eggs have hatched - this was the one where the nesting peregrines were being forced off the eggs by a male chick of theirs from the previous year who shoved them off, insisting on having his turn on sitting on the eggs. He has been trying to brood the hatched chicks as well !

The chicks at Nottingham are doing well too. Bit windy there this morning as well

After all the trials and tribulations of the 2017 season at Norwich Cathedral, pleased to say the remaining fledgling (one egg failed to hatch, and two chicks sadly died) is doing fine and all three birds are still hanging about the Cathedral.

The tent at the Cathderal was open for the last time this season but the webcam will be staying live for some time yet ...

Had a quick peep at the webcam tonight .. one rather soggy chick very loudly complaining - presumably about the rain ?
