Posted: 15 Jun 2016, 18:24Fascinating to watch this today ... we were keeping an eye out to see where they had got to and just before 1.30pm we shot out the front to watch the spectacle of over 100 cyclists and all their support vehicles, police escorts etc whizzing past ...
I think the best bit for me, after we had cheered all the professionals past, a lady on an ordinary bike was leisurely cycling along and I suggested we give her a cheer as well - It was almost as loud as for the leader of the race -she was great sport and waved and rang her little cycle bell all the way down King Street lol
