Yarn Week, Maker's Month Norwich

The Forum in Norwich are holding a "Maker's Month" at the Millennium Library in Norwich.

My friend from Knit & Knatter was there with her spinning wheel, spinning wool from alpacas which her friend brought along -my fav one was this "punk" one with sticky up fur

John Groom were there with their Noah's Ark ... loved all the animals, and any spare were being sold off to raise mroe money - I got myself a little owl

They also had exhibits from Norfolk Knitters and Stitchers ... weaving on big looms and little ones, spinning wool by hand -that takes some co-ordination .. I tried it ! Some lovely things made from felt ...

...and I had my first ever go at quilting .. lovely lady from Wensum Lodge, one of the tutors was there to show me how.
Looking forward to next week ..
