I have watched corrie more or less since it began, but I really think the storyline of the body in the garage has gone too far.
Am I being stupid?
What do you think?

I agree. It is going to go on and on. Its a shame as if its discovered half the Platt family will go to prison so that would be the end of son lovely characters.

and there will be the boring court cases before then.

It is like a very bad black comedy, we need another Jack & Vera to bring in some much needed laughs

I think it's the worst programme on TV, it's quite pathetic.

Do you prefer EastEnders.
It appears that people either like one or the other.
I enjoy corrie for the escapism but this latest plot is abit too far unless he does come back.

I can't stand Eastenders either or the other soaps.

I love both Wendy. Your right it is th3 escapism. Plus they can be good dramas.

I like you keep thinking he will come back. I did enjoy Sally wedding when Tim dropped her on the floor. It is pure comedy gold when they do the funny scenes.

It's a shame you don't like them Maureen What do you watch to unwind?

Being a northern girl, I watch Emmerdale and Corrie, I stopped watching Eastenders years ago, too much doom and gloom for me

I think escapism is the same as reading a good book. It is good for us and sometimes we need to daydream out of our own world.

I like a good play but a soap is even better, do you remember any old soaps like Crossroads, I loved that.

You must be missing downton Abby. Did you use to watch the Elliot sisters? I loved that but its going back a few years!

I am missing Downton already Jane, waiting for the last christmas special, I remember Elliot sisters but never had the time to watch it.
