My friend found an egg buried in her plant tub in her garden

Postby Honey » 04 Nov 2015, 22:43

She was astounded.
She was going to plant some spring bulbs but when she removed the dead summer plants she found a hens egg beneath the soil.
After some online research she found its fairly common for urban foxes to steal eggs and then bury them to return for later.
I didn't know they did that, did you?
She lives in the city and rang me to tell me.

when a squirrel hides his nuts over the winter he always eats the top off so it will not start to sprout.
I did not know that.
