Have to tell you what I heard yesterday.. One of the minibus D2D teams were stuck at trafiic lights in the city. All of a sudden there was an, to use their words, "an explosion of feathers", they were drifitng down over the bus, path and road...They wondered what was going on ... they looked down at the path and there was a Peregrine with a wood pigeon! It must have hit the pigeon so hard and fast it carried on through the trees beside the road and landed on the path. They were so lucky to see it so close..

were the birds ok liz?
I hope so.

They both flew off, don't think the pigeon was though??

I fear for the future of the birds in Norwich.
In maybe 10 or 20 years time, there will be fewer small birds and then these falcons will again be persecuted as they were before.
