The people manning the watch point had noticed that although it could fly straight and level well, it did have problems with manouvering.
The others can still be seen in and around the Cathedral. The male(father) tends to roost at night in the next box, and quite often can be seen early am sitting on the edge preening. The female(mother) does return ocassionally to the box every few days.
I have just been watching the male parent sitting on the nest box
