They are great pictures.
i am cleaning our canal tomorrow. i love seeing the baby ducks. There was an oil spill from some senseless person a couple of weeks ago and my friend and I were trying to keep the ducklings out of it. They are so little and vulnerable.
Enjoy your walks i love to hear what you have seen
xx

Had another walk down the canal this afternoon, what a delight, our cygnet have hatched and she has had 6, they were all in the nest, so couldn't get a good picture, so had a walk down the canal for about a mile & couldn't believe it when I saw another pair of swans with 6 cygnets. I managed to get a pic of these & then when I went back to the others, the pen had taken her brood for a swim, she also has 6! fantastic!!!!!

Mummy duck and ducklings have been missing for more than 2 weeks, so I have a lovely surprise today when I walked down to the Weavers Triangle & spotted them. They have grown so much.

Today when I went to check on & feed the swans, they had taken up residence on the tow path & the cob wouldn't let anyone past, I couldn't get too near as, he kept rearing up & hissing, but I got a couple of good pics. The cygnets are really growing
